Mary Pisano Obituary

Mary Domenica Pisano, 88, of Milwaukie, was born in Portland, as the youngest of five siblings.

She worked as a chiropractic assistant and after retirement volunteered at Jones Cable Network where she hosted two TV shows. She was Grand Marshall in the Milwaukie Daze Parade, active member in Sons of Italy and was the first woman president of the Milwaukie Kiwanis and held two terms.

Mary was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Richard Taufer and wife, Michele; daughter, Patti Lama and husband, Mike; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be at 3:30 p.m., followed by a reception Thursday, July 18, 2013, at St. Agatha Church, 7983 SE 15th, Portland.

Memorial contributions may be made to “OHSU Foundation”, 1121 SW Salmon St. #100, Portland, OR 97205. Please note “Parkinson Center of Oregon” on the memo line.
