Merredith Lottridge Obituary

Merredith (Max) Lynden Lottridge, 73, passed away on October 8, 2023. He was born on May 10, 1950, in Tierra del Mar, Oregon to Timothy and Olive Louise (Sheaffer) Lottridge.

Max was preceded in death earlier this year by the love of his life, Barbara Ann Lottridge. Max is survived by his son, Justin Lottridge, and his daughter, Jillian Harrington (Jon) as well as a loving niece and nephews.

Max joined the Navy in 1983 which took him and his family to many different locations over the years. Max and Barbara moved back to Oregon in 1998 where they have since resided. Max was an avid reader and lover of the arts.

Private entombment will be held.

Maynard was always kind to me and helped me with so many of my handyman projects after my husband passed away. I loved my brother-in-law. I am so sorry for Justin and Jillian’s loss of both their folks this year.

I am sorry for Justin and Jillian my Love to the both of you. Maynard was a wonderful brother in law. He was always very kind to me whenever I saw him and will be missed.

Uncle Maynard was a very likeable man. He had a good heart and a warm smile. He loved his family and anyone who met him knew that. I really enjoyed sharing the brother’s museum tour with him. We always had good conversations about cars. He reminded me of Eric Clapton. I hope him and Barbara are reunited to no tears in heaven. I will miss him.
