Michael Bellows, M.D.

Michael M.D. Obituary

Michael Scott Bellows, M.D., of Lake Oswego, died at home on the morning of March 19, 2012 at the age of 77. He was born April 30, 1934.

Michael was a dedicated and conscientious physician, a veteran, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Michael is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons, Michael Scott Jr. (Carol), John, Nicholas (Jenny) and Adam (Jenny); two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Amelia; and innumerable friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas; mother, Jean; and brother, Jeff. He will be missed by many, dismissed by none.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Lake Oswego United Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dean’s Scholarship Endowed Fund for the University of Michigan Medical School (The University of Michigan, Office of Medical Development and Alumni Relations, 1000 Oakbrook Drive, Suite 100, Ann Arbor, MI 48104).
