Nils Nilsson passed away at his home Saturday, November 23, 2019, with his family around him, finally succumbing to the dementia which had afflicted him for some years.

A man of kindness and wit, he loved his family, friends and adopted home of Lake Oswego. Nils grew up in Bethpage, N.Y., where he began his career as a draftsman at Grumman Aircraft. After moving out to Oregon in 1972, he worked at various Portland-area engineering firms with the bulk of his career being spent at Pacific Corp.

He leaves behind his wife, Gail; three sons, Andrew, Dean and Lloyd; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many friends including his caregiver, David. You will be missed our sweet Nils.
A celebration of life gathering is being planned for January.
