Nina Marie Hughes, born on May 11, 1980, in Portland Oregon at Emanuel hospital. She passed away June 19, 2023 in Portland Oregon.

Nina went to Laurelhurst Grade School, Fernwood Middle School, Grant High School, and Portland Community College. She also attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon.

She had a passion for fishing, camping, drawing reading, and writing stories. She also enjoyed spending time with family and her friends.

She was a beloved daughter of Patti and Duke Hughes, sister, to Jim Hughes, and Aaron Hughes, a niece and aunt, and a cousin to and a very large family, she will be deeply missed.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM at River View Abbey Funeral Home & Mausoleum located at 319 S. Taylors Ferry Rd., Portland, OR 97219. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Church In Portland, 15351 SE. Johnson Road, Clackamas, OR, 97015 from 3:30 to 5 PM.
