2024 (age 79)
Pamela M. Bettger passed away on August 5, 2024 in Portland, Oregon. Pamela was the daughter of Raymond and Ruth.
She was a mother and nana who cherished and loved her children and grandchildren passionately. Pamela is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur Bettger; her children, Athena, Andrea, and Perry (Clarissa); grandsons Charles and Elijah.
Pamela loved to travel, in her life she was able to visit Greece, Cook Islands, Fiji and for a time had a home in Cozumel, Mexico. She planned adventures, one trip with her husband and at that time her young children range in ages of 5 to 12 throughout Central America. At many of these locations, she would slide into the sea and snorkel—looking at the fish and finding the best seashells. With her grandsons, she had many adventures such as sandcastle building, kite festivals, and rowboat trips on the lake.
Pamela knew she had a blessed life and enjoyed it at the fullest. She has now gone to the big sea in the sky.
Services are on Thursday, August 22, 4:00 PM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church.

Pam and I met when she came to work for Dr. Kloucek. We worked together for many years. I counted Pam as one of my dearest friends. I will miss her!
