January 12, 1939 ~ May 28, 2020 (age 81)
Pasqua Cortese-Piscitelli, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on May 28, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 12, 1939 in Giovinazzo Bari, Italy to Vito and Caterina Cortese. Pasqua now joins her beloved husband, Antonio in heaven, they were married 55 years ago shortly before immigrating to the United States.
For many years, Pasqua worked as a seamstress in an industrial factory in Brooklyn, New York. After happily settling in Oregon, Pasqua and Antonio founded and operated an authentic Italian Restaurant and retired from their family run business in 2007. Pasqua was deeply religious and had a passion for spreading her faith. She was cheerful, happy and truly valued time spent with family and loved ones.
Pasqua is survived by her three sons and their wives, Frank and Anna Piscitelli, Vito and Wendy Piscitelli, and Giuseppe and Kelly Piscitelli; granddaughters, Ariana Ware, Antonia Piscitelli, Deanna Piscitelli, Michelle Piscitelli and Alina Sanchez; siblings, Antonietta Goffredo, Arcangela Cortese, Speranza Dagostino, Andrea Cortese and Angelo Cortese. She is preceded in death by her husband Antonio Piscitelli, sister Maria Piscitelli and her brother Michele Cortese. All of who she loved and touched deeply. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Please join us celebrating her life at a rosary service held Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 6pm at Riverview Abbey.
