Patricia was born November 11, 1930 in Portland Oregon. She lived in Portland her entire life. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Rena and Roy Hayward. Also by her beloved husband Leo. She is survived by her stepchildren, Georgia Howard and Cindy Lyman, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Pat and Leo were together for 49 years and created a great life together. Together, they enjoyed camping and traveling. Pat as a young lady traveled to Europe with her folks and across the great USA. Pat had great stories of her camping/fishing trips with Leo. She usually caught the biggest and the most fish. Leo would tease her saying he let her win because he loved her. There were many stories like this the family enjoyed to hear throughout the years.

Pat retired early from a job she spoke highly of. Pat was a telephone operator with the Northwest bell. She did this for 30 years and retired in her mid 50’s. This gave her time to focus on family and her home. She would host most holidays because she had a huge house and loved to cook. Her kids and especially the grandkids would all pester her for their favorites and she would make a big deal of surprising them with it when we got together. These were great memories of Pat.

Funeral service for Patricia is at 1PM on 3/7/22 at Riverview Abbey, 319 S Taylors Ferry Rd, Portland OR 97219.
