Paul was an avid fly fisherman and loved fishing the Metolius River and hanging out with his friends at his beloved King Fish Lodge in Camp Sherman. He was also a very talented artist, entrepreneur and University of Portland and Portland Timbers soccer supporter. He shared his life, home and heart with his large family and many friends. He was an amazing father and mother, grandfather, godfather, brother, uncle, friend and all around exceptional person. He loved being an invaluable part of the lives of the people around him. All those who knew him will cherish the time they had with him, miss him indefinitely and will continue to love him wholeheartedly.

Paul is survived by his siblings, Sharon, Ron, Jerry, Julie and Steve; daughter, Kelsey Marcel and her children, Piper and Tucker; and son, Hunter Caputo, his wife, Julie and their children, Nathan and Katherine.

A celebration of Paolo’s life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014, at Cassidy’s Restaurant in downtown Portland. Shorts are welcomed and encouraged.
