Our beloved sister, aunt and friend passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She loved her family and was passionate about Portland and her native state of Oregon.
Throughout her life, she loved to travel, attend the arts and stayed well-informed about current affairs.
She was born to Sam and Elisa Turin and graduated from Mount Angel Academy. She attended Capital Business College and began her professional career in Salem at Ladd Bush U.S. Bank. She worked for over 45 years with U.S. Bank in Portland.
She was preceded in death by Lou Turin and is survived by siblings, Cleo Clark and Jim Turin. She had 13 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews; and 8 great-great-nieces and nephews, all who knew and loved her. She will be missed.
Rosary and funeral Mass will be held beginning at 10:30am, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at St. Clare’s Catholic Church.

One reply on “Pauline Turin”
To the Turin family,
I was deeply saddened to read of the death of Pauline. You don’t always have to know a family to have empathy for them when they lose a loved one in death. I wish to express my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences as you endure this great loss. Our loving Heavenly Father also feels deep empathy and there for assures us that when Revelation 21:4 is fulfilled, death, pain and mourning will be eliminated. And because our savior Jesus Christ gave his life for us, he said “all those in the memorial tombs..will come out.” John 5:28, 29. I pray that these scriptures will comfort you also, as you await the time when you and Pauline are reunited in the resurrection and when death, pain, and mourning will be a thing of the past.
With deep sympathy, Joel
