Rita Barton Obituary

Loving mother of Jacqueline Padden, Sacramento, Calififornia, Robert Barton, Lake Oswego and Kathleen Souhrada, Tigard, Rita J. Barton passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017, surrounded by family.
Tirelessly devoted to family and friends she will be greatly missed. From the many quilts made for family, volunteering income tax preparation for seniors, teaching religious education classes, to giving a meal to the downtrodden, she led her family by example and enriched those left behind. She embraced death as she had lived her life, with open arms to God and graced those left behind with the chance to bid her farewell before she departed.
She leaves behind 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Service to be held at 11 a.m. Mass by Father Berg, Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Mary’s Woods Chapel, followed by a reception.

Private interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lake Oswego.
