Robert was born in Portland. He retired from the Portland Police Department after 26 years.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013, at Riverview Abbey Funeral Home.
He is survived by sons, John (Diane) Roper, Mark (Julie) Edwards and Sean Edwards; daughters, Tawni Pfaff, Pam (John) Regnaud, Michelle Edwards and Jennifer Strausbaugh; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
