December 20, 1950 ~ October 11, 2021 (age 70)
The world lost an amazing husband, father, and friend. Ross Khemlani passed peacefully in his home on Monday, October 11th. He was a successful businessman, many knew him as Kash Ross or Kash. He taught his children everything he could and one of his favorite life lessons was “attitude is everything”. With the right attitude you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Ross immigrated to the US from India in 1970 and truly succeeded in living his American dream. He started a successful business as a one of a kind Hong Kong tailor and his shop Ross Creations and Custom Clothiers has been downtown Portland since 1974. He had a big beautiful heart and was loved by many people. He gave everything he could for his children and the people he cared about.
Ross was the first of his family to come to the US and unfortunately the first to pass on. He leaves behind so many. His wife Kumari; His two brothers, Pierre and Ashok, and their families; His three sisters and their families, Nirmala, Asha and Indu; His three married children Roshan(Rebecca), Chandini(Alexander) and Sapna(Bryan); His three grandchildren, Rohan, Kashton, Camila and one granddaughter, Kailani on the way; His best friend Taisa and her family.
He will remain in their hearts forever, never forgotten.
You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Ross Bhagwandas Khemlani
