October 28, 1937 ~ June 17, 2023 (age 85)
Sandra K (Vetter) Worsech was born in Portland Ore. October 28th, 1937 to Frank and Johnnie Vetter.
She died peacefully June 17th, 2023 at Brookdale Senior Living.
She was wife of 55 yrs to Harold A Worsech, who sadly passed away in 2009.
Sandra and Harold raised four children in Tigard, Ore. where they lived from 1962 to 2015.
Daughter Kim (Worsech) Tippett (Husband Casey Tippett) Son Mike Worsech (Died 1979) Son Randy Worsech (Wife Nora, children Eric, Sean and Camille) Son Doug Worsech (Wife Vera, children Douglas, Derek and Dylan) She loved her Grandkids! Unfortunately, Sandra didn’t have enough time to get to know her six Great Grandchildren very well. She would have loved them.
Sandra was greatly loved by her family and was sometimes a second Mom to many of her children’s friends who loved hanging out at the Worsech’s house.
Sandra will be remembered for her collection of Teddy Bears. Lots and lots of Teddy Bears! She enjoyed crafts, gardening, puzzles, camping and hosting family reunions at Crescent Lake. The family has a lot of good memories from time spent at Crescent Lake.
Later Sandra went to Portland Community College to receive her GED because she married Harold when she was 17 and didn’t finish High School. Sandra liked going back to school so much that she went on ahead to receive her AA in Drafting Technology in 1983.
Sandra will be missed.
Service to be held Thursday June 29th 2023 at 11am at Riverview Abbey on Taylors Ferry Road, Portland, Ore.
Closed casket visitation from 10-11am.
