Sarah LaMoureux Obituary

Sarah Kathryn LaMoureux was born October 21, 1968. A long-time Lake Oswego resident, Sarah died of an accidental death at her home on Jan. 14, 2012. She was 43.Born and raised in Lake Oswego, Sarah graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1986. She attended Marymount Palos Verdes College in California going on to graduate from the University of Oregon. She was a member of Alpha Phi.

Her working career was in sales at Doc Martens Shoes and in real estate and property sales at Oswego Pointe. She also worked in computer based organizations. Well traveled, Sarah worked in Germany and visited many countries in Europe as well as the Middle East.

Sarah’s zest for life was contagious and she was always kind to others. She had a quick wit, always with humor and a smile. Intensely private and humble, she was caring and loyal to her friends and family.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Sally; her brother, John; and her half-sister, Erin. Her father, Peter LaMoureux, predeceased her.

At her request, no services will be held.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sarah may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
