August 19, 1924 ~ February 11, 2017 (age 92)
Sally was a mother, wife, homemaker, cook, traveler and a woman of independence and joy in care of her four children, beloved pets and lost animals that crossed her way. She attended the University of Oregon and graduated with honors in 1947 as a full member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority where she enjoyed many fun and frolicking exploits with her fellow sisters. Sally loved to travel and did so frequently with her parents and friends after graduation.
She was married to Kenneth Ernest Roberts until his passing in 2012 and was the mother of Mary, Michael, Gregory and Mark, as well as the grandmother to eight grandchildren.
Sally loved collies, old sweaters, walks with the dog, Oregon beaches, crab legs with butter, Chinese food, The Far Side cartoons, horses, driving her own and the neighbors children to school, watching old British films, sharing photos, the Tualatin River, making lamb stew, eating oysters and salad for breakfast, glider planes, Shakespeare and Falstaff, U of O games, Star Trek re-runs, and singing along with childrens songs. She worked for many years volunteering with Meals on Wheels with Sr. Josephine of the Sisters of Charity.
