October 1, 1939 ~ August 13, 2016 (age 76)
She was born to Lila and Sherman Casper in Oklahoma City in October, 1939. The family moved to Oakridge, Tennessee where her father worked on the secret Manhattan Project. Eventually they moved to Portland and she graduated from St. Mary’s of the Valley High then from Marylhurst University with a BA in Fine Arts. She developed an eye for beauty which showed in her art works and in her interior home design. She became a celebrated painter represented by Gango Gallery and Deluge Gallery and Roche Bobois in Portland. She founded Betwixt and Between Gallery in Pacific City, showed at Beppu Gallery there and was more recently represented by Dragonfire Gallery in Cannon Beach.
She is survived by her fourth husband of 23 years, Gary Lesniak, her children, Stoneleigh Wickland, Cydne Casper, Carii Clawson and Todd Grail, her four grandchildren and sister, Chelsea Harding.
She always lit up the room, had an infectious laugh and exuded sincere warmth. She will be greatly missed by the many who came to know her.

Dear sherry, she could light up a room with her smile and laugh and the wicked twinkle in her eye. Well miss her wide range of interests from string theory to art. Love and hugs to her family
