Her husband of 49 years, Santo “Sam” Porco, predeceased her in 1982.
In 1946, they opened S.P. Bakery, bringing sweet memories to many.
Sophie is survived by her daughter, Barbara Porco; grandsons, Joe (Beckie) and Mike Criqui, whom she adored; great- grandchildren, Chelsea, Sam and Nathan; and sister, Algesa (Boots) Guileana.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
A private entombment will follow the service
