April 24, 1944 ~ December 23, 2023 (age 79)
Stephanie Snyder, 79, of Tigard, OR, entered her heavenly home on December 23rd, 2023, surrounded by her devoted family.
Born on April 24th, 1944, in Portland, Oregon, Stephanie was the youngest of three daughters to the late Herbert and Dorothy Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Stephanie Cooper, and two sisters, Connie and Carole. Despite holding down multiple jobs, Stephanie skillfully managed the responsibilities of caring for her family, with her proudest accomplishment being her two boys, Thomas and Troy Tollen. Stephanie united in marriage with the love of her life, Bill Snyder, on May 5th, 1988, and they cherished 35 wonderful years together.
Stephanie leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend to all who encountered her. Stephanie’s infectious laughter and sense of humor brightened the lives of those around her. Her deep affection for sports and the state of Oregon manifested in unwavering support for the Portland Trailblazers and the Oregon Ducks; she was an avid and passionate fan. With a passion for gardening and nature, she found solace at the beach, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her beloved husband, Bill, and her children Tom (Tiffinie) and Troy (Victoria), Stephanie is also remembered by her grandchildren Morgan (Kjell), Blake, and Brooke, her great-grandson Tommy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at Riverview Abbey, 319 S. Taylors Ferry Road, Portland, Oregon. The service will commence at 1:00 pm.
Stephanie’s profound impact on the lives of many ensures that she will remain close in our hearts forever.
