Tessie meets Mrs. Moreland – September 20, 2014
Posted: September 21, 2014 | Last Revised: September 21, 2014
My mother and Tessie too, used to tell the story of Steve’s mom. On their honeymoon, in their little apartment, they we’re checking each other out in the bedroom, when Mrs. Moreland just opened the door and walked right in. Tessie in her stocking feet was never very big. But she asked Mrs. Moreland to leave her home and to call next time before she just walked in. Tessie could and would take on the Ogre for all of us. It was probably the first time those two saw His mother back down. Steve loved her for it! He was naturally shy, quiet and the households anchor. Tessie was the wind in his sails. I send my love to the family. God rest with you tonight.

Steve’s God Daughter and friend
This little light of Steve’s, I’m going to let it shine. Let shine with my Dad and Tessie’s little lights too. God is Good and God is Great. They are in His presence now. To a good man, loving children, a one spunky wife, I have enjoyed the Morelands company for over 58 years.
