May 16, 1928 ~ February 6, 2020 (age 91)
Lifetime Lake Oswego resident, Virginia Silver passed away from dementia at 91, with her family by her side.
Virginia was the eldest daughter of Warren and Leona McCart, born in Winfred, S.D. The family moved to Oregon in 1936 and bought their first house in Lake Grove.
Virginia graduated from West Linn High School in 1946 and married Raymond in 1948, she worked as a bookkeeper for Tualatin Valley Builders Supply.
Virginia loved to cook, bake, host family dinners and grow flowers.
Survivors include children, John, Bruce, Marilyn and Kurt; three grandchildren; brother, Larry; and sister, Nora.
A celebration of life will be held in Virginia’s honor at a later date.
The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity.
